age or date of birth/hatching: Thom is 8 years old, born on the last day of Archer's Moon 127 (January 31, 2026).

description: A normal lynx Thunderan but, as an albino, his fur is pure white, eyes pink and also sensitive to light. He appears to be quite bright and perhaps gifted but chooses not to participate much in anything to allow such traits to be visible. He likes to blend in at times, and then streak in front of you like any eight-year-old wanting to be noticed.

likes: He likes dark colors, especially ship-metal grey. Games. He won't turn down a challenge from anybody. Oddly, he has yet to pick a toy out of the myriad at his disposal. He claims he has no want or need of toys.

dislikes: bright light and things, loud sounds

family: Adopted by Jade Griffin, he gained three in-house adopted siblings: Rikki, Rena and Eanna, all three of which are older and not anywhere close to his race, but neither is Jade Griffin. His new siblings came as a great and rather unwanted surprise. Thom chooses currently to not associate with Ree and Ean, but he will occasionally play games with Rikki. A second surprise was the arrival of Pohda, a reptile Mutant, who unquestionably had to come live with us. She's always around Thom, and he either tries to ignore it or push her away.

geneology and history: Karish'hin (mother) and Damardiine (father ), both of normal coloration and only carriers of the recessive albino gene. Not a big sub-family, the name " i' Denill'iis " does come with some notariety. Both radical explorers and scientists in their own right, Karish' was pilot and navigator for their home-ship. Damardiine's specialty was asteroid tagging (for others to exploit mineral deposits, and the family's only true income) and an equally keen mind for the exploration of space and its various anomalies. It is not known whether they encountered an enemy cruiser during the wars or wound up on the wrong end of a hurtling asteroid and unable to escape its suddenly erratic path, or some other space-born disaster. Their home-ship, in which Thom was born and raised, was found ripped in two nearly with him stowed almost haphazardly in a cryosleep pod. The bodies of his parents were eventually recovered. He says he doesn't remember what happened. He was at Adamante for only a short while before being adopted and doesn't appear unruffled at all, psychologically, by the recent turbulence and changes in his life, but looks can be deceiving.

special notes: Thom will not go out much during the day. He says the light hurts his eyes. We gotta get the kid some sunglasses! Also... He's quiet but definitely not shy. Odd... Given his choice of wallpaper and furniture, I asked about it. It isn't just that he grew up on a spaceship. I get the impression he likes to hide, or keep his things hidden, hence the near camouflaged dresser, cabinet, and nightstand. You might check out his furniture to see if he's hidden anything there. You might be suprised! He is not of normal coloration and I wonder if it disturbs him and this is a way it is showing through. He claims being albino doesn't bother him in the least. Thom was adopted March 17,2034 from the Adamante Orphanage.
